The Action Fingers are supporting characters in The Upside Down Show.

Description

The Action Fingers, who are named respectively as "Knuckles" and "Pointy", are two deep-voiced heroic hands who solve minor problems in several episodes. They arrive whenever Shane, David or Mrs. Foil need assistance and fix any problems they come across. For example, they rebuild a sand castle in Beach and retrieve a paper airplane in Airport, thinking it was a real plane.

Looks

Knuckles and Pointy are peach-colored hands with five fingers and light fingernails. They use two of their fingers as "legs."

Appearances

The Action Fingers appear in six episodes of The Upside Down Show, as well as in the opening theme to every episode.

  • In Movie Theatre, they appear in the laundry room. They rescue Barbara, a sock and Lefty's wife caught in a lint trap.
  • In Art Museum, the Action Fingers make a finger painting.
  • In Camping, they appear three times. First, they get behind the door of Fido's room. They walk up the stairs and fall asleep. Next, they fly a toy airplane. Third, they wake Shane and David up by holding open their eyes.
  • In Airport, they appear twice. First, the Action Fingers crash-land on a paper airplane, search for Mary Annette inside, then refold it for its owner, Mrs. Foil. Second, they help to translate for a girl using sign language in the Word Room.
  • In Beach, the Action Fingers rebuild Mrs. Foil's sand castle after David and Shane accidentally destroy it.
  • In Mini Golf, they use their Action Noses to locate the Orange Room.
  • In Barbershop, Pet Shop, Picnic, Marching Band, Birthday Party, Farm, and Ice Cream Truck, they are only seen in the opening theme and do not appear in the main story.
